Born in Sydney, Karina Green graduated from the Australian Actors Centre in 2001, with the Power of Acting (Theatre). Her Actors Centre stage credits include: The Heart of Antarra (Abriella / Courtesan), A Roadless Travelled (Karen), The Salon (Jess), and A Scent of Flowers (Zoe).
During her time at the Actors Centre, Karina appeared in the opening ceremony of the 2001 NRL Double Header, and as part of the ensemble of Joseph & The Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat. She also participated in several theatre workshops with actors: Sonya Talis, Dean Carey, and David Van Vuuren.
Prior to the Actors Centre, Karina played a Grisette in The Merry Widow, The Third Witch in Shakespeare's Macbeth & King Lea and A Towns Person in Angles Unaware.
In 2002, Karina performed in the Sydney production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing where she received an award for her portrayal of Bathlazar and Watch Two. She then went onto play Cozbi in Headline News.
Karina has written her own songs, advertised on radio, and performed in several dance productions including: Sydney’s Festival of Dance, Elance – Moving Ahead, and has played a Pirate in Disney’s Peter Pan. She has also done several solo appearances in venues around Sydney.
Karina is best known in Sydney for her performances with Dance on Sydney, the Elite School of Singing, and the Strathfield Musical Society.
